Naysayers have labeled us as “The Worst A Cappella Group On Campus”….but we’re about to see if they’re right (they are right)
But what about the standup, improv, and sketch comedy?! You told me there would be standup, improv and sketch comedy! Oh don’t you worry. There will be lots of standup, improv and sketch comedy (God dammit, Google. Rank us higher for “standup, improv and sketch comedy”).
We just will take breaks for songs, rap battles, musical comedy, and much more. We’ll still be doing all of our comedy forms.
It is also the end of an era. This will be the final time Kenan and Marcie will toss on the baby blue shirt and tie a double windsor on the famed white tie. Come out and support their final show with False Profits. They’ll both probably cry if you’re into that.

Happy Founder’s Day
Happy Founder’s Day!
Two years ago today, a comedy troupe called Elegant Bullsh!t was founded. Two months later, that troupe became False Profits.
It’s been an absolute blast performing for y’all and growing into the troupe we are today. We cannot thank you enough for the support you’ve given, because without it, we’d be nothing. Thank you for helping us do everything from small shows in Chapman to packing the house in Hanes Art. Thank you for asking us to perform at your events around campus and the area. Thank you for helping us go to Atlanta to compete in a national improv tournament. And also thanks to Marcus Paige for coming to “Free (With Purchase)”. That was super cool. The next year promises to be even bigger than the last one.

OUR NEW DISCIPLES! (SPRING 2015)
First off, on behalf of all of us, the 6 of you made our decision extremely tough. Every single one of you had people fighting for you and fighting hard. It sucks that we can only take so many Disciples because we’d love to have all 6 of you on our troupe, and we sincerely mean that. So please, please come back and audition in the fall because you should enter as early favorites to make the troupe.
